ชลบุรี 13 พฤศจิกายน 2568 – บริษัท ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า จำกัด (มหาชน) ผู้ดำเนินธุรกิจค้าส่งค้าปลีก “แม็คโคร–โลตัส” เดินหน้าขับเคลื่อนธุรกิจสู่ความยั่งยืน ภายใต้โครงการ “ลดทิ้ง สร้างค่า AXTRA Zero Waste” และแนวคิด “ขยะเป็นศูนย์ ประโยชน์เป็นแสน From Waste to Wealth” ตอกย้ำบทบาทผู้นำด้านการบริหารจัดการอาหารส่วนเกินและขยะอาหารอย่างเป็นระบบ ครอบคลุมตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำถึงปลายน้ำ เพื่อลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ล่าสุด ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า ได้ร่วมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) กับ กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช ต่อเนื่องอีกครั้ง เพื่อสานต่อโครงการสนับสนุนอาหารส่วนเกินที่ยังบริโภคได้จากแม็คโครและโลตัส มอบให้แก่สัตว์ป่าภายใต้การดูแลของกรมอุทยานฯ ทั่วประเทศ กว่า 20,000 ตัว ครอบคลุมทั้งสัตว์พ่อแม่พันธุ์ สัตว์บาดเจ็บที่ต้องฟื้นฟู และสัตว์ป่าของกลางจากการลักลอบค้าผิดกฎหมาย ที่ไม่สามารถปล่อยคืนสู่ธรรมชาติได้ เนื่องจากขาดความสามารถในการเอาตัวรอด หรือพื้นที่ป่าบางแห่งมีสภาพแวดล้อมไม่เหมาะสมต่อการดำรงชีวิตของสัตว์บางชนิด ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อเสริมสร้างสวัสดิภาพและความมั่นคงทางอาหารให้แก่สัตว์ป่า พร้อมช่วยลดภาระค่าใช้จ่ายด้านอาหารของกรมอุทยานฯ และร่วมขับเคลื่อนการอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติไทยให้ยั่งยืนต่อไป
คุณสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รองนายกรัฐมนตรี และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม กล่าวว่า “ความร่วมมือระหว่างกรมอุทยานฯ และ ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า ถือเป็นแบบอย่างของการขับเคลื่อนนโยบายสู่การปฏิบัติจริงในระดับพื้นที่ โดยการนำอาหารส่วนเกินที่ยังสามารถบริโภคได้ มาบริจาคเพื่อเป็นอาหารให้แก่สัตว์ป่าในสถานีเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์ป่า และศูนย์ช่วยเหลือสัตว์ป่า นับเป็นการเปลี่ยนของเหลือทิ้งให้กลายเป็นทรัพยากร สามารถช่วยแก้ปัญหาทั้งขยะอาหารและการดูแลสัตว์ป่าไปพร้อมกัน สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของกรมอุทยานฯ ที่ไม่เพียงมองปัญหาขยะในมิติของความสะอาดเท่านั้น แต่ยังมองเห็นความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างการจัดการขยะ การลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก และการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติอย่างยั่งยืน สอดคล้องกับนโยบาย ‘ประเทศไทยสู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำ’ และเป้าหมาย Net Zero Emissions ที่รัฐบาลกำหนดไว้”
คุณศิริพร เดชสิงห์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร สายงานความยั่งยืนและสื่อสารองค์กร บริษัท ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า จำกัด (มหาชน) กล่าวว่า “ตลอด 4 ปีที่ผ่านมา ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า ได้ส่งมอบอาหารส่วนเกินที่ยังมีคุณภาพจาก แม็คโคร และ โลตัส ให้แก่ศูนย์อนุรักษ์พันธุ์สัตว์ป่าและสวนสัตว์ในสังกัดกรมอุทยานฯ รวม 27 แห่งทั่วประเทศ ปริมาณกว่า 2 ล้านกิโลกรัม หรือกว่า 15 ล้านมื้อ เพื่อใช้เป็นอาหารให้สัตว์ป่า ซึ่งถือว่าบรรลุเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้ได้อย่างน่าภาคภูมิใจ ความร่วมมือนี้ไม่เพียงสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารให้สัตว์ป่า แต่ยังช่วยลดปัญหาอาหารสูญเปล่า ลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม และแบ่งเบาภาระงบประมาณของกรมอุทยานฯ ให้สามารถนำทรัพยากรไปใช้ด้านอื่นได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น สำหรับการลงนาม MOU ในครั้งนี้ จะเป็นการ สานต่อความร่วมมือระหว่างปี 2569-2570 โดยซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้าจะยังคงสนับสนุนอาหารส่วนเกินจากแม็คโครและโลตัสอย่างต่อเนื่องให้แก่ สถานีเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์ป่า 22 แห่ง ศูนย์ช่วยเหลือสัตว์ป่า 4 แห่ง และศูนย์พัฒนาการจัดการสัตว์ป่าบึงฉวาก รวม 27 แห่งทั่วประเทศ เพื่อเสริมสวัสดิภาพสัตว์ป่าและขับเคลื่อนการอนุรักษ์อย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป โดยในอนาคตเรายังตั้งเป้าต่อยอดความร่วมมือนี้ไปยังองค์กรสวนสัตว์ ปางช้าง รวมถึงหน่วยงานที่ดูแลสัตว์ถูกทอดทิ้ง เพื่อสร้างคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีให้กับสัตว์ทั่วประเทศอีกด้วย”
คุณวีระ ขุนไชยรักษ์ รองอธิบดีกรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช กล่าวว่า “ตลอดความร่วมมือกับ บริษัท ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า ที่ผ่านมา ถือเป็นโครงการที่ช่วยสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารให้สัตว์ป่าได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมและมีประสิทธิภาพ เนื่องจากกรมอุทยานฯ มีภารกิจในการดูแลสัตว์ป่ามากกว่า 20,000 ตัว ทั้งสัตว์พ่อแม่พันธุ์ สัตว์ป่าของกลางจากการลักลอบค้าผิดกฎหมาย รวมถึงสัตว์บาดเจ็บที่ต้องได้รับการดูแลฟื้นฟู ซึ่งต้องการอาหารที่เพียงพอและสม่ำเสมอในทุกวัน ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้จะช่วยลดภาระค่าใช้จ่ายด้านอาหารสัตว์ พร้อมทั้งเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด อีกทั้งยังเป็นการต่อยอดแนวทางการอนุรักษ์สัตว์ป่าอย่างยั่งยืน สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของกรมอุทยานฯ ในการดูแล รักษา และฟื้นฟูสัตว์ป่าให้คงอยู่คู่ธรรมชาติไทยต่อไป”
ความร่วมมือระหว่าง ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า และ กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช ในโครงการส่งต่ออาหารส่วนเกินครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารให้สัตว์ป่า ยังเป็นการใช้ทรัพยากรให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด และยังสามารถลดขยะอาหารและผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน ตามนโยบายของ ซีพี แอ็กซ์ตร้า การบริหารจัดการอาหารส่วนเกินอย่างเป็นระบบ มุ่งสู่การลดปริมาณขยะอาหารสู่หลุมฝังกลบเป็นศูนย์ ภายในปี 2573
CP AXTRA and the Department of National Parks Extend Partnership to Donate Surplus Food, Enhancing Wildlife Welfare and Food Security for Sustainable Conservation
Chonburi, November 13, 2025 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, the operator of Makro and Lotus’s, continues to advance its sustainability driven business operations under the flagship initiative “AXTRA Zero Waste”, the program highlights CP AXTRA ’s leadership in systematic food surplus and waste management across the entire value chain from upstream to downstream aiming to reduce environmental impact in a tangible and measurable way.
Most recently, CP AXTRA renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) to continue the surplus food donation program from Makro and Lotus’s branches nationwide. The initiative provides nutritious surplus food to over 20,000 wild animals under the DNP’s care, including breeding stock, injured animals under rehabilitation, and confiscated wildlife rescued from illegal trade. Some of these animals cannot be released back into the wild due to their inability to survive independently or because their natural habitats are no longer suitable for their species.
This renewed collaboration aims to enhance animal welfare and food security for wildlife nationwide, while helping reduce the DNP’s operational costs and contributing to the long-term preservation of Thailand’s natural ecosystems.
Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, stated: “The collaboration between the Department of National Parks and CP AXTRA serves as a model of translating national policy into practical implementation at the local level. By donating surplus edible food to wildlife breeding stations and rescue centers, this initiative transforms what would otherwise be waste into valuable resources addressing both food waste and wildlife care simultaneously.
This partnership reflects the Department’s strong commitment to tackling waste management not only from a cleanliness perspective, but also through its connection to greenhouse gas reduction and sustainable natural resource conservation. It is a clear example of action aligned with the government’s policy to drive ‘Thailand toward a Low-Carbon Society’ and achieve the nation’s Net Zero Emissions goal.”
Mrs. Siriporn Dechsingha, Chief Corporate Sustainability and Communication Officer, CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, said: “Over the past four years, CP AXTRA has delivered more than 2 million kilograms of high-quality surplus food from Makro and Lotus’s equivalent to over 15 million meals to 27 wildlife breeding and conservation centers under the Department of National Parks nationwide. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our efforts to reduce food waste while supporting wildlife care in Thailand.”
“This collaboration not only enhances food security for wildlife but also helps minimize food waste, reduce environmental impact, and lessen the budgetary burden on the department so that resources can be allocated more efficiently. The new MOU, covering 2026–2027, will see CP AXTRA continuing to donate surplus food to 27 wildlife facilities nationwide including 22 wildlife breeding stations, 4 wildlife rescue centers, and the Bueng Chawak Wildlife Management Development Center (Bueng Chawak Zoo). The department is responsible for caring for more than 20,000 animals, including breeding species, confiscated wildlife, and injured animals under rehabilitation — all of which require adequate and consistent food supplies each day. This partnership helps reduce animal-feed costs while optimizing the use of resources and strengthening our mission to protect, conserve, and rehabilitate Thailand’s wildlife for future generations.”
The partnership between CP AXTRA and the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation represents a successful public-private collaboration that turns food surplus into sustainable value. Beyond supporting wildlife food security, the project embodies responsible resource management by reducing food waste and environmental impact in line with CP AXTRA ’s goal to achieve zero food waste to landfill by 2030.
