“CPF ฟิลิปปินส์“ หนุนสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหาร ขยายความร่วมมือช่วยเกษตรกรรายย่อยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการเลี้ยงสัตว์ปลอดภัย

CPF ฟิลิปปินส์ สานต่อความร่วมมือกับ ก.เกษตรแห่งสาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์ และธนาคารเพื่อการพัฒนาแห่งฟิลิปปินส์ (Development Bank of the Philippines : DBP) ดำเนินโครงการสนับสนุนเงินทุนและความรู้ด้านการจัดการฟาร์มที่ดี รวมถึงการป้องกันโรคให้กับเกษตรกรขนาดกลางและรายย่อยของฟิลิปปินส์ได้เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการเลี้ยงสัตว์ ยกระดับภาคปศุสัตว์และการเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำ เพื่อสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารให้ประเทศ

คุณอุดมศักดิ์ อักษรภักดี กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธุรกิจสัตว์น้ำ CPF ฟิลิปปินส์ กล่าวว่า บริษัทฯ ร่วมกับภาครัฐฟื้นฟูห่วงโซ่การผลิตสุกรในประเทศที่ได้รับผลกระทบอย่างรุนแรงจากโรคระบาด ภายใต้โครงการ “การให้เครดิตเพื่อฟื้นฟูภาคอุตสาหกรรมสุกร” หรือ โครงการสุกร R3 (Swine Rehabilitation, Repopulation and Recovery Credit” or Swine R3 program) ซึ่งเริ่มดำเนินการในปี 2564 เพื่อให้สินเชื่อสนับสนุนเกษตรกรขนาดกลางและรายย่อยในการยกระดับระบบความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพในฟาร์มสุกร ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้ เป็นการต่อยอดความสำเร็จของโครงการดังกล่าวสู่ภาคการปศุสัตว์ และการเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำอื่นๆ ทั่วประเทศ

ในปีนี้ หน่วยงานทั้งสามฝ่ายระหว่าง ก.เกษตรฯ สถาบันการเงิน และ CPF อยู่ระหว่างการร่างแผนงาน กำหนดกฎระเบียบ ขอบเขตการดำนินงาน และยุทธศาสตร์สำคัญร่วมกัน โดย CPF ฟิลิปปินส์ จะนำองค์ความรู้ นวัตกรรม และความสำเร็จจากโมเดลธุรกิจการเลี้ยงสัตว์บกและสัตว์น้ำ รวมถึงนำรูปแบบโครงการส่งเสริมอาชีพการเลี้ยงสัตว์แก่เกษตรกรรายย่อยในไทยมาประยุกต์ใช้กับการสนับสนุนเกษตรกรชาวฟิลิปปินส์พัฒนาฟาร์มให้ทันสมัย มีระบบความปลอดภัยทางชีวภาพช่วยป้องกันการเกิดโรระบาด นำไปสู่การผลิตอาหารปลอดภัยและความมั่นคงทางอาหารให้กับผู้บริโภคภายในประเทศ

“โครงการนี้ช่วยให้เกษตกรรายย่อยสามารถเข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุน ด้วยการอุดหนุนเงินสินการเกษตร รวมถึงสนับสนุนช่องทางตลาด และให้ความช่วยเหลือ ชี้แนะจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ช่วยให้เกษตรกรฟิลิปปินส์สามารถผลิตอาหารที่มีคุณภาพสูง ปลอดภัย นำไปสู่การเติบโตของภาคปศุสัตว์อย่างยั่งยืน สามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้ และยังเป็นการสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารอีกด้วย“ คุณอุดมศักดิ์ กล่าว

โครงการสอดคล้องกับหลัก “3 ประโยชน์สู่ความยั่งยืน“ ซึ่งเป็นปรัชญาที่บริษัทฯ ยึดมั่นและนำไปปรับใช้กับทุกประเทศที่ CPF เข้าไปดำเนินธุรกิจ โดยคำนึงถึงประโยชน์ของประเทศ ประชาชน และองค์กร เป็นลำดับสุดท้าย

Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation (CPF Philippines), the Department of Agriculture (DA), Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), has set a plan to finance livestock and aquaculture farms nationwide to help small and medium scale farmers strengthen biosecurity, sustainability, and productivity, while assuring the nation’s food security.

The joint effort is an expansion of Swine Rehabilitation, Repopulation and Recovery Credit” or Swine R3 program launched by CPF Philippines, DA and DBP in 2021 to revive the pig industry from the outbreak of AFS. The program provides financial aid to the SMEs to make infrastructure development. Also, the project provides farmers with marketing and technical support.

CPF Philippines’ President Udomsak Aksornphakdee said the company, DA and DBP are planning to extend a helping hand to other livestock, poultry, and aquaculture farms across the country. The effort will help smallholder and medium farmers to transform their farms to equip with higher level of biosecurity system. This program will assure food security in the Philippines.

He added that CPF Philippines will use its expertise in contract farming implementation, hi-tech farming and biosecurity to supports the smallholder farmers. He says “This project allows small scale farmers to access to funding. The project’s assistance included financial support, marketing channels and technical knowledge from experts. Ultimately, Filipino farmers will be able to produce safe, high-quality food, resulting ub sustainable growth of the livestock sector, enabling the country to achieve self-sufficiency and food security.”
