CP เวียดนาม ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็น 1 ใน 10 บริษัท ในภาคการผลิตที่มีผลการดำเนินงานด้านความยั่งยืนโดดเด่นที่สุดของเวียดนาม (Top 10 sustainable companies in the manufacturing sector) ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 2 จากการประเมินของสภาพัฒนาธุรกิจอย่างยั่งยืนแห่งชาติเวียดนาม (Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development : VBCSD) สะท้อนให้เห็นความมุ่งมั่นของบริษัทฯ ในการเป็นผู้ผลิตอาหารที่ส่งมอบผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการ จากกระบวนผลิตที่ยังยืนตลอดห่วงโซ่คุณค่าจากต้นน้ำ ไปจนถึงปลายน้ำ
คุณวรวิทย์ อรุณรักษา ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการ ด้านพัฒนาความยั่งยืนองค์กร CP เวียดนาม กล่าวว่า การได้รับรางวัลในครั้งนี้ เป็นผลจากวิสัยทัศน์ของบริษัทฯ ในการผลิตอาหารโดยคำนึงถึงความสะอาด ปลอดภัย จากกระบวนการผลิตที่มีความยั่งยืน ตลอดห่วงโซ่การผลิต ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (The UN Sustainable Development Goals : SDGs) ตอบโจทย์แนวโน้มความต้องการของผู้บริโภคทั้งในปัจจุบันและอนาคต เพื่อร่วมพัฒนาส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของชาวเวียดนามและปกป้องความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ โดยมีส่วนในการอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติ ทำให้สินค้าของบริษัทฯ ได้รับความไว้วางใจจากผู้บริโภคทั่วประเทศ
“การได้รับรางวัลในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นเกียรติ และความภาคภูมิใจของ CP เวียดนาม ที่มุ่งมั่นพัฒนาธุรกิจตามแนวทางความยั่งยืน เพื่อยกระดับความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของชาวเวียดนามและผู้บริโภคทั่วโลก” คุณวรวิทย์ กล่าว
ทั้งนี้ สภาพัฒนาธุรกิจอย่างยั่งยืนแห่งชาติเวียดนาม ได้จัดพิธีมอบรับประกาศนียบัตรที่ประเทศเวียดนาม โดยมี นาย วู ดั๊ก ดัม (Mr.Vu Duc Dam) รองนายกรัฐมนตรีเวียดนาม เป็นประธานในพิธี และคุณวรวิทย์ เป็นผู้แทน เป็นผู้แทนบริษัทฯ รับมอบใบประกาศนียบัตร พร้อมกล่าวว่า บริษัทฯ เข้าร่วมโครงการประเมินและจัดอันดับธุรกิจยั่งยืนประเทศเวียดนาม เป็นการประเมินด้วยดัชนีชี้วัดตามข้อกำหนด CSI (Corporate Sustainability Index) ในปีนี้มีดัชนีชี้วัด 119 ข้อ ครอบคลุมการดำเนินงานด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม โดย CP เวียดนาม ได้รับการคัดเลือกผ่านเณฑ์มาตรฐาน จากคณะกรรมการพิจารณาโครงการจากภาครัฐจัดอยู่ใน CSI100 บริษัท และมีผลการดำเนินงานโดดเด่นอยู่ในระดับ Top 10
นอกจากนี้ CP เวียดนาม ได้ดำเนินกิจกรรมช่วยเหลือสังคมหลายรูปแบบมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง อาทิ การบริจาคโลหิต การตรวจสุขภาพ และสนับสนุนผู้ยากไร้ และกลุ่มเปราะบาง รวมถึงการสนับสนุนรัฐบาลเวียดนามในช่วงโควิด-19 ประกอบด้วย ทั้งการแจกอาหาร หน้ากากอนามัยหลายล้านชิ้น ถังออกซิเจน และอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ที่จำเป็นให้กับผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 ภายใต้โครงการ “Hospital at Home”
โครงการประเมินและจัดอันดับธุรกิจยั่งยืนประเทศเวียดนาม เป็นการประเมินบริษัทเอกชนโดยสมัครใจ เพื่อส่งเสริมบริษัทเวียดนามและบริษัทต่างชาติ ดำเนินธุรกิจตามเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน SDGs ซึ่งเป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคประชาสังคม ควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนา เศรษฐกิจ สังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม ใช้ทรัพยากรให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด ซึ่งเป็นผลดีในการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มจากการลงทุนสู่การสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับเวียดนาม.
C.P.Vietnam named among the “Top 10 Sustainable Companies in Vietnam” for 2nd year in a row.
C.P.Vietnam Corporation (C.P.Vietnam) was named among the “Top 10 Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2021” for the second year in a row from the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development, reflecting its efforts to become sustainable as a leading company in vertically integrated agro-industrial and food business with 3F model (Feed-Farm-Food).
On December 9, 2021, the ceremony to announce and award the “Sustainable Companies in Vietnam in 2021” took place at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, with the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and representatives from ministries and leaders of relevant localities.
C.P.Vietnam’s representative at the event, Worawit Arunraksa, Assistant Vice President, said that the company always determines the vision and orientation for sustainable development and improves management capacity. Moreover, C.P.Vietnam has been implementing the development of sustainable business strategies in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on society and the environment.
“Being honored in the Programme on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2021 is the pride of C.P.Vietnam team and this achievement is the result of the consistent in developing the business towards sustainability. C.P. Vietnam will continue to strive for the sustainable development of the company and for the socio-economic of Vietnam,” he said.
Regarding to the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI), Worawit said that participating in the program and applying the set of indicators to production and business at enterprises, it has shown that the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) 2021 has been simplified in 119 indicators, helping businesses visualize a roadmap for implementing sustainable development on a small to large scale, thereby building and consolidating strategies and business plans in line with current capabilities and future sustainable development orientations.
For the second consecutive year listed in the “Top 10 Sustainable Companies” in the Manufacturing Sector is due to the continuous efforts of C.P. Vietnam members at all level in production and business activities as well as supporting the social community and environmental protection. C.P.Vietnam will continue to strive and make more efforts with this positon through the production and business process.
In parallel with sustainable production and business activities, C.P. Vietnam also cares about social benefits with a series of activities for the community such as voluntary blood donation, medical examination and treatment and distribution of medicines for the poor, the synergy house project. C.P. Vietnam has had positive policies to provide positive spiritual and material support to the people of central provinces severely damaged by natural disasters and floods.
