ฯพณฯ เวง สาขน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรป่าไม้และประมง พร้อมด้วย ฯพณฯ อูสเพีย ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดตาแก้ว และผู้แทนรัฐบาลกัมพูชา อธิบดีกรมปศุสัตว์ เกษตรจังหวัดตาแก้ว เข้าเยี่ยมชม ฟาร์มผลิตสุกรขุนและโรงงานอาหาร CP กัมพูชา โดยมี คุณวิทยา เกรียงไกรวิทย์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ และคุณไพทูรย์ วงษ์กตเวทิน รองกรรมการผู้จัดการ CP กัมพูชา ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ
ฟาร์มผลิตสุกรขุนดังกล่าว เป็นการผนึกกำลังระหว่าง CP กัมพูชา และ คุณงิน กุนเทีย ชาวชุมชน ตั้งอยู่หมู่บ้านรือไซมวยกุม ต.โอสาราย อ.ตรัมเกาะ จ.ตาแก้ว ประเทศกัมพูชา บนพื้นที่ 12 เฮกตาร์ ซึ่งปัจจุบันมีโรงเลี้ยงสุกร 20 หลัง จำนวนสุกรขุน 14,000 ตัว ภายใต้ระบบคอนแทรคฟาร์มมิ่ง ประเภทประกันรายได้ สัญญาการเลี้ยง 8 ปี โดยบริษัทฯ สนับสนุนพันธุ์สุกร อาหารสัตว์ ยา วัคซีน ตลอดจนเทคนิคการเลี้ยงที่ถูกต้องตามหลักวิชาการ ส่วนที่ดินและสิ่งปลูกสร้าง พนักงาน และผู้ดูแล ดำเนินการโดยเจ้าของฟาร์ม
จากนั้น ท่าน รมว.เกษตรป่าไม้และประมง และคณะผู้บริหาร ลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมชมโรงงานอาหารของ CP กัมพูชา อ.ชุมคีรี จ.กำปอต พร้อมกล่าวว่ารัฐบาลกัมพูชามีความยินดีอย่างยิ่งที่จะสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมกิจกรรมทางธุรกิจ เพื่อเสริมศักยภาพการผลิตปศุสัตว์ที่ได้มาตรฐานการผลิตอาหารปลอดภัย เติมเต็มสุขอนามัยที่ดีสู่ผู้บริโภคชาวกัมพูชา พร้อมขยายการตลาดท้องถิ่นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
Cambodia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries lauds C.P.Cambodia as a model of food producer.
H.E. Veng Sakhon, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, and Ouch Phea, Governor of Takeo Province along with government officials paid a visit to the fattening swine farm and the food processing plant of CP Cambodia in Reussey Mouy Kom village, Osaray Commune, Tram kork district, Takeo Province. The delegation were welcomed by Wittaya Kreangkriwit, President and Paitoon Wongkatawethin, Vice President of C.P. Cambodia.
The 12-hectare farm, owned by a smallholder farmer, is operated under the contract farming scheme which has 20 pig houses with 14,000 fattening pigs. The company has introduced the contract farming program to encourage Cambodian farmers to produce pigs efficiently and hygienically as same as the company standards. The company has transferred knowledge and technique on how to feed pigs properly to farmers. C.P.Cambodia also supports piglets, feed, and medicine.
Later, the Minister and visitor group visit the company’s food processing plant in Chum Kiri district in Kampot province. The minister, on behalf Cambodian government, expressed his support for the contract farming program to increase the competitiveness of pig production and to ensure the food security of the country.
